North Scott board hears district plan to boost literacy with MTSS and ELA pilot

Nicole and Heather, who led the presentation, said the district wants “to build a really strong tier 1 core instruction” so that core teaching meets most students’ needs and interventions can focus on students who need accelerated growth. “We always wanna improve student outcomes,” one presenter said, summarizing the district’s emphasis on both proficiency and year-over-year growth.
