The South Berwick Town Council approved several financial and administrative items at its Nov. 10 meeting, including an amended treasurer's warrant, an appointment to the Elizabeth Bond Fund account and approval of minutes from a prior public hearing.
Councilors moved to amend and approve a treasurer’s warrant dated Nov. 6, 2025, in the amount of $1,032,049.47. During discussion staff noted the large total reflected a School Board payment (SAB 35) of about $848,653.38; councilors voted to approve the amended warrant unanimously.
Separately, the council appointed Councilor Paul Schumacher to be added as a second signer on the Elizabeth Bond Fund (LPL Financial) account, replacing Jeff Minhans. The appointment was made by motion, second and unanimous vote.
The council also approved the public hearing minutes from Oct. 28, 2025, with minor corrections (including a name correction from “Charles Gillette” to “Charles Liddell” and a corrected address for a Mr. Meadows).
