Board approves three-year ACH contract for jail medical services with rate adjustments

Troy, county staff, returned to the board with a proposed three-year contract with ACH to provide jail medical services. He said the county had requested a reduction in the proposed rate for 2027–28 and that, after discussion, ACH agreed to reexamine those years’ rates.
"Thanks, I think, in no small part to our strong relationship ... they were willing to reexamine those 2 years and are proposing a 3% increase in 2027 and 2028," Troy said.
A motion to approve the three-year contract was moved and seconded; the board then voted in favor and carried the motion. No individual vote tally by name was recorded in the transcript.
The board thanked Troy for his work; the contract was approved at the meeting and will be implemented according to its terms.
