The Madison County School Board voted Nov. 10 to accept ranked proposals for three outlying school properties and directed staff to draft conveyance contracts with conditions the board requested.
Superintendent Pickles told the board the ranking order placed the town of Greenville first for its site, followed by Riverbend; the Town of Lee had withdrawn its proposal. After discussion, the board voted to approve the proposed rankings and to move forward with contracts for the Lee and Panetta/Pineda locations.
