Board honors longtime member Mildred C. Tatum and approves three personnel waivers

Later the board held three waiver hearings (testimony recorded but removed from the livestream); after the hearings trustees voted on each waiver. One waiver passed with a recorded 5-2 tally, and two additional waivers were approved by voice vote. Board members explained the hearings would remain on the district record and that any party wishing to review testimony could FOIA the recorded hearings.
Trustees adjourned the meeting following completion of the hearings and routine business.
