The Azusa Unified School District Board of Education on Nov. 4 approved a package of tentative agreements with district employee groups and enacted salary adjustments for district management and the superintendent.
Motions to approve tentative agreements between the district and the Azusa Educators Association, the Azusa Federation of Adult Educators, and the Azusa School Employees Association passed by roll-call votes recorded as 5-0.
The board also approved administrative contract amendments that increased base salaries for assistant superintendents by 1.75% (to approximately $216,000 and $216,481.32 depending on position) and increased the superintendent's base salary by 1.75 to approximately $285,732.32, all effective Jan. 1, 2026, together with modest increases to district contributions for health and welfare benefits.
Each motion passed unanimously; staff said there were no other changes to contracts beyond the stated compensation adjustments.
