The Planning and Zoning Commission of Cape Coral recommended four candidates for regular appointments and two alternates during its Nov. 5, 2025 meeting, which convened at 9 a.m. in Council Chambers.
Chair moved to recommend Apting, Lemieux, Severson and Schwartz for the four regular seats following an applicant interview process; the motion carried on a roll call of all ayes. The commission also recommended Kevin Craig and Charles Langenfeld as alternate members with a separate unanimous vote.
Kimberly Brunz, Cape Coral city clerk, told the commission that an application from Duane Lopez had been inadvertently omitted from the meeting packet and that Lopez was unable to attend. Brunz…
