Pablo Cruz sworn in to Sedgwick County Fourth District Citizens Advisory Board

The Sedgwick County Commission unanimously appointed Pablo Cruz to the Fourth District Citizens Advisory Board on Nov. 5.
County counselor Justin Wagner introduced the resolution and Cruz took the oath of office administered by the county clerk. "I'm honored to accept this appointment to the Sedgwick County District for Citizens Advisory Board," Cruz said after the swearing-in, adding he intends to listen, gather feedback and represent residents of District 4.
Chairman Ryan Beatty noted Cruz's background as executive director of the Kansas Hispanic Development Foundation and his prior work as a Wichita Police Department detective and community liaison. The commission welcomed Cruz and thanked him for agreeing to serve.
