The Warrick County School Corp. board approved two bond resolutions tied to the district's 2025 general obligation bonds after a brief public hearing that drew no public comments.
Superintendent Dr. Abby Redmond opened the additional appropriation hearing for the bond proceeds and noted the hearing was advertised and posted at district locations. "At this time, I will close the meeting and open a public hearing on the appropriation of proceeds of the 2025 general obligation bonds," she said; no members of the public spoke.
Dr. Redmond recommended the board approve the additional appropriation resolution (Resolution 2025-14) so bond proceeds can be spent on project costs. The motion was made, seconded and approved by voice vote.
She then presented the final bond resolution (Resolution 2025-15), which the superintendent said "establishes the amount to be borrowed, the maximum term of repayment, and maximum interest rate" and includes bond details such as form. The board approved Resolution 2025-15 by voice vote.
The board took no recorded roll-call on either item; minutes reflect motions carried by unanimous voice approval on the floor.
