Steamboat Springs School Board adopts revised GP‑19 meeting policy

The Steamboat Springs School Board unanimously adopted a revised board policy, GP‑19 (school board meetings), at the board’s Sept. 22, 2025 regular meeting.
President Katie Lee moved that the Board adopt the revised GP‑19 as presented. Laura moved and Cresta seconded the motion. Deb Genesta called a roll call vote; Cresta, Kevin, Laura, Leah and Katie all voted aye and the motion carried.
Board members said the policy had been discussed in prior meetings and no further debate occurred before the vote. The policy will take effect according to the district’s normal policy adoption timeline and will be included in updated board materials.
