The Hoffman Estates village board approved a consent agenda on Oct. 20 that included the schedule of bills for $6,390,634.09, authorization to enter a construction-inspection agreement with BLA for up to $164,580, a resolution to award the Donegal Services LLC demolition contract for Fire Station 22, a license agreement with Commonwealth Edison for underground electric distribution lines in the Beverly Road right-of-way, and adoption of the Hoffman Estates multimodal transportation plan.
Trustees voted on the consent agenda by roll call after the chair asked whether any items should be pulled for separate discussion; no items were pulled. The consent package also noted a proposed purchase of video production equipment for the NOW Arena from United Board Operations LLC (d/b/a VISUHA) not to exceed $117,290.50 was scheduled for finance-committee consideration.
Separately, the board approved an appointment to the Sustainability Commission and issued a mayoral proclamation recognizing October 2025 as Cybersecurity Awareness Month. Routine reports included a clerk’s report noting 329 FOIA requests and 17 passport applications for September and committee schedules for upcoming meetings.
The board adjourned after approving minutes, the consent agenda and routine business.
