Kim Kuhl, senior services program manager, described a broad set of programs at the Bullhead City senior campus for active adults aged 50 and older. The campus offers daily activities including exercise classes (Zumba, mobility and fall-prevention classes), creative workshops (beading, knitting, painting), card and table games, computer access, and scheduled social events.
Kuhl said the campus provides resource connections including veterans benefits meetings, Medicare information sessions, technology tutoring, document-preparation assistance, caregiver support and bereavement and cancer-support programs. The campus also hosts a congregate lunch program with lunches served at 11:30 a.m. (last lunch at noon) and a suggested donation of $3 from those aged 60 and above or disabled individuals and $4 to those under 60.
In addition, the senior campus operates Meals on Wheels deliveries and an "Angels Essential" area where donated durable medical equipment is available to the community. Kuhl provided a local contact phone number and the campus street address for in-person inquiries.
