North Smithfield council approves payments, appointment and reserves; reopens/ closes police contract hearing

- Signal Works invoice: Council approved Signal Works’ October invoice for police station renovations in the amount of $2,788.16.
- Reserves: The council accepted a FY2025 reserves request totaling $459,783.59 to move surplus/unspent capital into reserve accounts as part of a transition to a capital asset fund over coming years.
Earlier in the meeting the council reopened a continuation of the public hearing on the International Brotherhood of Police Officers collective bargaining agreement and then moved to close that hearing; roll call votes were recorded for both actions. The hearing was closed with no further action recorded at this meeting.
All routine motions were adopted by roll call with affirmative votes by the members present.
