Council member Armiento reported that the town launched the first phase of its online parking system in partnership with ParkVantage.
"The online system is working well. People are buying passes," Armiento said, adding that permit-holders could create accounts and load information immediately. The town kept in-person sales available during the first week and planned to transition daily passes to online-only sales next week.
Armiento said phase one allowed permit holders to begin account setup and noted that daily-pass demand made the first full business day busier than others. Council members thanked the parking team and encouraged residents to register their accounts and contact staff with any issues.
No formal council action was required; the report was informational and part of the mayor’s public updates.
