Committee recommends accepting dedication of Lafayette subdivision utilities
Summary

The Green Bay Improvement & Services Committee on Oct. 29 recommended that the city accept dedication of public improvements for a three-lot subdivision on Lafayette. Tanner Wojcick, representing the Thomas J. and Mary K. Safener Trust of 1996, requested conveyance and dedication of the completed improvements under the developer's agreement.
Public Works staff described the project as a division of a large 5-to-6-acre parcel into two residential lots and a remaining lot for a large home. Staff said the physical work on the improvements was complete and recommended accepting dedication of the utilities, with the exception of sanitary and storm sewer laterals and water laterals that lie outside the dedicated right-of-way.
Alder Gerber moved to approve acceptance of the dedication; Alder DeLay seconded. The committee voted in favor and the chair declared the motion carried unanimously.
Next steps: the committee's recommendation will go to the full City Council for final action at the council's Nov. 11 meeting.
