Court accepts company request to terminate incentive agreement; county attorney to file acknowledgement

The Cooke County Commissioner's Court agreed to terminate an incentive agreement after the company provided a written request and the county attorney prepared a termination acknowledgement.
County Attorney Zelensky told the court that the letter received from the company was sufficient to end the agreement and that he would prepare a letter acknowledging receipt and termination. "The letter that we received is sufficient for us to end up ending that contract...I'm going to provide you with a letter that says we acknowledge receipt and that we terminate the agreement," Zelensky said.
Jansen Givens appeared on behalf of Tractor Bob's and confirmed the business requested dissolution of the incentive agreement. Commissioners moved and seconded the action and the court approved termination of the incentive agreement 5-0.
No additional conditions or financial terms were read into the record during the meeting; the county attorney indicated a formal termination letter would be brought back to the court.
