Slick City Action Park opens in Goodyear with 13 specialty slides

Slick City Action Park opened its doors in Goodyear on Saturday, drawing families, city officials and a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Mayor Joe Pizzillo.

Mayor Joe Pizzillo joined city representatives at the event and praised the new venue, saying it was "awesome" and noting the turnout: "I never see so many slides in one place… these kids are having a great time." The opening marks the arrival of a new family entertainment option in Goodyear.

Tyler, the general manager of Slick City, described the facility as a community-focused attraction. "Honestly, Slick City is gonna be for family, friends, fun, schools, any groups that you guys have," he said, inviting residents and groups to visit. He highlighted that the park offers food, seating and activities designed for both children and adults.

The park features 13 specialty slides, a dedicated 5-and-under area for younger children, a basketball "air floor," a dodgeball court and arcade games distributed throughout the facility. Tyler said the site was designed so parents could participate with their children or relax while watching, noting the availability of seating and massage chairs.

Slick City is also marketing birthday parties and group events: "We have the best birthday parties in the valley," Tyler said, encouraging reservations for family and friends.

The park is located on McDowell Road just east of Pebble Creek Parkway in Goodyear and is now open following the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The opening adds a privately operated indoor recreation option aimed at families and youth groups in the area.
