Lewiston committee approves FY25 audit transfers, advances two policies and deletes outdated attendance rule

Committee members asked clarifying questions about confidentiality, voluntary referrals and how FMLA or state leave rules interact. HR staff explained employee assistance offerings and FMLA/paid‑leave eligibility. The committee approved the first reads unanimously.
Policy deletion: The committee voted unanimously to delete policy IHDA, which Langley read aloud; he said state law supersedes the policy and that students with Individualized Education Programs can attend school to age 22, making IHDA unnecessary.
