Logansport approves two firefighter promotions effective Oct. 8

After the board voted, Armick addressed the room, saying he wanted to "thank Chief Miller, thank my wife and kids back there, and, thank the guys in the back row. Without them, I wouldn't be where I'm at in my career." Chief Miller then presented a similar request for Justin Melton, noting Melton's seven years of service and state certifications and asking that his promotion be effective Oct. 8; the board approved that motion as well.
