Council adopted Ordinance 7‑17‑2025 authorizing a two‑year memorandum of understanding among the Baldwin County Commission, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and the City of Spanish Fort to provide school resource officers within the city’s school limits. David Connor, who noted a conflict on the item, said the agreement had been reviewed by the police chief and was similar to an earlier arrangement. The council voted unanimously to adopt the ordinance.
