Superintendent Dr. Mansick told the Cornwall-Lebanon School District board on Aug. 18 that district calendars have been mailed or will arrive soon, orientation and professional development days are set for staff, elementary open houses and kindergarten bus-ride events are scheduled this week, and a Cedar Crest Cyber Families open house will be held in the LGI on Thursday at 6 p.m.
He also updated the board on extracurricular and athletic schedules — noting a marching band competition on Sept. 6 and fall sports beginning soon — and on the district’s renovation projects: "All of this is moving along on schedule, the Falcon Connector," he said, noting teachers have begun setting up classrooms in the new spaces and stadium renovations are under way.
The superintendent’s report prefaced multiple construction and payment motions on the agenda that the board later approved. He also reminded families of key dates and the district’s next public work session on Sept. 8.
