Jackson council adopts FAA grant agreements for airport planning and de-icing work

The second, Resolution 25-20, was described as funding phase 3 of the de-icing-pad and containment facility; staff materials listed an FAA obligation for that grant as $1,158,000.575, which was recorded in meeting materials and is presented here as $1,158,000.58 for standard financial formatting.
Council members had no substantive questions during the meeting; both resolutions were adopted by unanimous voice vote with Councilman Schechter absent. Staff said subject-matter experts were available if councilors wanted more detail, and public comment on the items was not offered at the hearing.
