Site enabling work begins for new South Kingstown school; early bid packages show preliminary savings

Staff are coordinating with the construction manager Gilbane and the town’s traffic and safety staff; paperwork on a related land swap is being prepared and a subcommittee of the school improvement team will catalog memorials and dedications that must be accounted for during construction.
The superintendent said the project remains on schedule at this stage and that additional updates will follow at the next meeting.
