Mr. Salerno described the Stevens Park court as a successful first project with the city's primary parks funding partner, noting that the court is well used and that the bill requests reimbursement for the grant-funded construction. "Every time I stop by the park, it's well used and I think it was a great first project to highlight potential future partnerships," Salerno said.
Following the presentation, a motion was made and seconded to forward Bill 79 to the full council meeting; the committee expressed assent and advanced the measure for council consideration.
