Keene Road retail plan seeks removal of sidewalk; easement may be conditioned on occupancy

The DRC reviewed a Keene Road retail construction-site plan resubmittal on Oct. 29 in which the applicant requested elimination of the sidewalk along Keene Road.
Staff said a compromise had been reached with Public Works. The applicant asked that an easement required by comments be provided but not delay the revision approval, proposing the easement be a condition of the certificate of occupancy (COC). Public Works indicated it was amenable to making the easement a COC condition.
Community Development and other departments reported no additional comments at the meeting; the DRC will proceed with the resubmittal process with the easement condition noted.
