• Reappointment to Board of Health: The board approved the reappointment of Rosario Garcia Fino to a three-year term on the Black Hawk County Board of Health, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
• Claims and payments: The county auditor reported total bill payments of $393,924.44 for approval; notable items included a $106,565 payment for a single-axle dump truck. The board authorized the auditor to issue payments against the listed settlements.
• Signage design authorization and other procedural items: The board authorized staff to proceed with courthouse signage design concepts (final approval and purchases to follow) and agreed to a December work session on the Washburn drainage district.
