Loveland City Council authorized an agreement for snow and ice removal on undedicated streets within the White Pillar Subdivision, approving the resolution by unanimous roll call.
City Manager Dave Kennedy explained the city first provided this service in November 2022 and has performed similar snow removal work twice in the past year, invoicing homeowners' associations $1,125 for each instance — a total of $2,250 collected to date. He described the arrangement as similar to services provided for condominium developments where the HOA covers maintenance of nondedicated streets.
Councilmembers discussed whether the city should extend the arrangement beyond a year-to-year arrangement; Kennedy said staff could raise the topic with the HOA next time and review multi-year options. The council read the resolution and approved Resolution 90 by roll call, 7-0.
