Loveland City Council voted unanimously to authorize payment of annual license, support and maintenance fees for the city's financial software provider, Civica CMI.
Finance Director Mark Medler told council most contract items increased roughly 4% for 2026. He said one line item rose more because the city is making a one-time purchase to preserve payroll information from an older system (the city uses Paycor for payroll) so it can meet long-term recordkeeping needs and respond to information or pension reporting requests.
Medler said the 2026 increase explains the step up from about $27,000 last year to approximately $34,000 this year, and noted the contract exceeds the city manager's purchasing authority of $15,000, which is why council approval was required.
The council read a resolution authorizing payment of the annual license, support and maintenance fees and approved the measure by roll call vote, 7-0.
