The Woodbridge Township Council on Aug. 12 approved multiple consent items and resolutions with little debate.
By unanimous voice vote the council approved minutes from July 22, 2025. The council took letters b and c (traffic ordinance amendments) by consent: adding a handicap parking space on Gill Lane and deleting a handicap‑only space in Beverly Hills Terrace; the public hearing was opened, no comments were given and the ordinances were ordered adopted and submitted to the mayor.
Letter d, an ordinance amending chapter 2 concerning discovery fees for prosecutor's office records requests, was opened for public hearing, discussed briefly and ordered adopted and submitted to the mayor. Letters e–i were taken on first reading by consent and scheduled for homeowner review and public hearings where applicable.
Council approved resolutions 1–36 by consent. Councilmembers singled out Resolution No. 3 recognizing the Wilbur's Township Ambulance and Rescue Squad for longtime service and Resolution No. 25 authorizing appraisal and professional services related to a municipal building.
All measures described above were adopted by voice vote and submitted to the mayor as required by law.
