Staff explained that variances granted at the prior hearing included a condition requiring street trees to meet a specified standard; board action had struck a separate condition but left a contradictory requirement in place. To correct that inconsistency, a board member moved to approve V-22-25 (VAR-202506-0075) by striking conditions 2 and 3 while keeping the remaining conditions from the staff report.
The motion was seconded and passed on a roll call vote (Burrell: Yes; Kacinko/Kosinko: Yes; Ballard: Yes). Staff confirmed the board’s intent was to preserve the approved variances while removing the two conditions that conflicted with the motion approved at the prior hearing.
No public comment was offered on the cleanup motion, which the board characterized as procedural alignment rather than a rehearing of substantive matters.
