"Plumas Rural Services domestic violence services has served 111 clients in the last 12 months," Holcomb said while reading the proclamation language.
Supervisors asked clarifying questions about event dates and timing; the board then voted by roll call to adopt the proclamation. Holcomb said the group will publicize volunteer and donation opportunities and invited county staff and residents to participate.
The board took no further action on policy or funding for domestic‑violence services at the meeting; the proclamation is a formal recognition and encouragement for community participation.
