Residents press council on power outages, Tarrant Appraisal District ballot and a stalking complaint

Harold Willis and other residents raised complaints about recent power outages and power surges south of Interstate 20, citing events in June when thousands lost electricity for minutes to hours. Willis said residents with medical vulnerabilities were at risk and urged the council to invite Encore/Oncor to address reliability and proposed rate increases. He asked the council to hold the utility accountable and to encourage constituents to file outage reports with the Public Utility Commission and the utility's outage map.
