Planning staff presented SUP25090034, a site-plan review for a proposed gas station at the corner of Double Oak and State Highway 360. The plan places the building in front of the fuel canopy so that the building face addresses Double Oak and the canopy is oriented toward the service road off SH 360.
Staff said the project meets density, dimensional and parking requirements and either meets or exceeds landscape standards; additional trees are proposed along the south side to create a buffer. Elevations and Appendix F standards were shown to the commission, and no variances were requested.
Staff reported 29 mailed notices and one letter of support received from a resident on Greenway Trail. "We did send out 29 notices and we did receive 1 letter in support," staff said. Staff recommended approval and noted the applicant will be present at the public hearing portion of the meeting.
The item was presented as a site-plan review at the staff briefing and will proceed to the commission's public hearing for comment and any formal action.
