Senior staff accountant Nina Robinson said the proposed SPLOST list is consistent with the strategic planning retreat and noted staff adjusted projected funding upward after additional financial analysis. Robinson presented line‑item allocations and said staff will forward the list to the Clayton County Board of Commissioners for inclusion in the county ballot if council concurs.
Councilmembers asked clarifying questions and raised no objections. The governing body voted to approve the SPLOST project list as presented and directed staff to take next steps toward county coordination and public outreach.
The list will guide how SPLOST proceeds would be distributed if voters approve the county ballot measure in November; staff emphasized this is a project list and that final budgeting and project scopes will return to council for follow‑up approvals.
