Commissioner Bogue moved to name the specified Powell Road segment the Charlie Kirk Memorial Highway; the motion passed 4‑1, with one commissioner recorded as opposed. The board did not rename addresses or require residents to change any official street names—the action is honorary and limited to signage.
Staff will prepare the signage and installation details; commissioners discussed placement to reduce the risk of vandalism and to use a stretch of road that already has lighting.
