Council member Lomeli proposed adding a recital that cites data from the Los Angeles Unified School District (Local District 5) showing reductions in enrollment and attendance affecting Cudahy students; council members discussed placement of that recital and agreed on its insertion. Council member Lomeli said the data shows measurable enrollment and attendance drops in some schools and asked staff to cite the LAUSD budget-transparency tool in the resolution text.
The council moved, seconded, and approved the resolution by roll call (Fuentes: Yes; Gomez: recorded Yes; Lomeli: Yes; Vice Mayor Doctor Gonzales: Yes; Mayor Alcantar Loza: Yes).
