Planning Director LaShawn updated the Orinda Planning Commission at its Nov. 12 meeting that the city council on Nov. 3 approved a package of housing-related actions: general plan amendments, zoning text changes and downtown objective design standards intended to satisfy the city's housing element allocation number.

LaShawn provided the brief update during the commission's closing business items and did not indicate additional immediate actions required of the commission; commissioners acknowledged the update and then adjourned the meeting.
