Mister Jones summarized the commission's findings, saying the commission adopted the majority of public utility staff positions — including using a historic test year, applying a 50‑50 capital structure and setting a return on equity at 9.4%. Jones said the commission accepted some Atmos proposals, including the company's proposed incentive compensation program, and that nearly 20 other disputed issues are detailed in the written order.

Commissioners approved the proposed final order by voice vote.

What happens next: The commission's written order documents all findings and determinations; implementation will proceed under the timetable set in that order.
