Commissioners at the Manvel Planning & Zoning Commission meeting on Oct. 27 reviewed a developer’s petition to annex about 47.3 acres near the northwest corner of Kirby Drive and State Highway 6 and adopt a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning document tied to a Chapter 380 economic incentive agreement.
Planning staff told the commission that the PUD application is for voluntary annexation of land currently in the extraterritorial jurisdiction and that staff considers the PUD conceptually feasible but has sent a list of changes and locational criteria the applicant should address before a final recommendation.
