Boerne launches compliance push after new STR software identifies 214 listings

Next steps and enforcement Planning staff said they will begin a compliance phase that includes sending letters to unregistered operators explaining registration requirements and timelines. For the initial round staff said the priority is registration and payment; if operators fail to comply by the ordinance deadlines, the city can pursue administrative penalties and citations as provided in the 2023 STR ordinance.
