The Sherburne County Board accepted the audited treasurer's monthly report for July 2025. The treasurer's office presented the trial balance and an investment report noting ARPA funds of $1,550,887.67 and a recorder's compliance fund balance of $300,106. Investment earnings at month end were reported as above budget by $865,411.14, and year-to-date interest earnings totaled $2,265,411.14 compared with $1,966,442.87 the prior year.
The treasurer also reported the county received a first-half payment of county tax-base equalization and county need aid totaling $3,274,543.50, and the first half of aquatic-invasive-species prevention aid of $37,569.50 (second half to be received in December). Commissioners asked operational questions, including whether gravel-tax receipts vary seasonally; staff said receipts usually track tonnage removed, which implies seasonal variation.
The board moved and voted to approve the financial report for July 2025.
