Staff told the board there is no county match required; the application is due September 4 and staff will work with public works to finalize the work plan. Commissioners moved to approve the submission and the motion carried. The board noted the formal grant agreement will be brought back for review before execution.
The action is intended to offset state-mandated duties and help the county cover the cost of required inspections and related work.
