Hermosa Beach City Council voted Aug. 26 to roll back rules that had limited the general public comment period to two minutes and had suspended remote (Zoom) participation. The council amended Resolution RES24-7414 to return speakers to 3 minutes each, eliminate the 30-minute council-wide cap, restore a virtual participation option for general public comment and allow visual aids for agenda items if provided to the city clerk at least 24 hours before the meeting.
