Springfield Township SD reports ESY summer results and seeks temporary Wilson reading support

To address staffing gaps at the middle school for Wilson‑certified reading instruction (one resignation and one maternity leave), Dr. Dennis said the district identified a year‑long contractor from the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) who is Wilson certified and will provide daily, full‑day support while the district continues to train internal staff. The contract was not on the current committee agenda because of posting timelines but is planned for the September board agenda for approval.
