Council voted unanimously to approve the contract amendment (adding approximately $18.8 million to bring the professional‑services total to about $33.79 million) to complete design and construction administration for the new 30 MGD facility and related systems, including UV disinfection, equalization basin and SCADA improvements. Staff said the new plant will be built adjacent to the existing site; the current plant will be decommissioned and removed after the new facility is complete.
