Grove City council continues charter review, narrows mayor selection to council choice

Council President Crystal Haupt opened the session by asking council and staff to focus on producing a draft the members could act on, and to adopt the commonly used term “council–city manager plan” in the charter draft, rather than the shorter label “city manager form of government.” “We are working under the premise to get through a draft,” Haupt said.
