Commissioner Wark, who moved the motion, said the park is heavily used by families and events; Chairman Peebles and other commissioners supported the expenditure. The motion to approve was seconded and carried on a roll-call vote by the members present.
The board recorded the motion, approved the purchase, and directed staff to proceed with procurement and scheduling. No public opposition to this item was recorded during the meeting.
