Students present 'House of Resilience' and plan Oct. 16 fundraiser at Sheridan County School District #3

The presenters said the house system creates mentorship opportunities with older students "so you have people you can go to if you need help," and that it has helped build stronger student connections at the small district.
Students invited the board and community to a fundraiser called the 'bottle of the cups' on October 16, said the event will run at 3:30 p.m. and will be paired with parent-teacher conferences and a home volleyball game. The student presenters said proceeds from the drink competition will support house activities and student fundraisers.
Trustees and staff praised the presentation; board members said the house program has created a positive atmosphere and thanked students and staff for their work.
