The resident said he had been approached by several proponents and suggested there was no need for the local fire department to meet with them while the moratorium remains in place. "We've done some research... every department in the county is looking at it, including the city," he said, urging patience while officials study the matter.
No formal petition or action was taken on the moratorium at the meeting; the comment was entered into the record.
