Sumner County’s legislative committee on Nov. 10 cleared several routine items and agreements in a short meeting.

Early on the agenda the committee approved the meeting agenda and minutes. The county mayor announced an interlocal agreement with the emergency communications district/center will be reviewed by legal and placed on next month’s agenda. The committee approved a drafted lease for the recovery court with an exhibit describing the leased premises, following staff’s recommendation.

The committee also approved a Comer Connect memorandum of understanding described by staff as straightforward and passed an EMS essential purposes grant as a pass-through; staff confirmed the grant requires no county funds or match.

The meeting concluded after discussion of other items; a motion to adjourn was made and the session ended.
